Charcoal on Arches paper original drawing. 58 x 75 cm UNFRAMED. Trees surround a lake, their long boughs growing down to the water's edge. Leaves flutter in the wind are are reflected in the water. This large drawing took many months to complete. Thick layers of compressed charcoal were layered down and then erased with a putty rubber and the artist's fingertips. Dark shadows contrast the delicate light that shimmers through.
